Ingredients
Serves: 8- Casserole:
- 3 cups mashed yams
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- Topping:
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup pecans
- 1 can Baker’s(R) coconut
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 35 mins1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. Mix all ingredients for casserole together well and place in buttered dish.
3. Mix all topping ingredients together and put on top of yams.
4. Bake in the preheated oven until brown, about 35 minutes.
