This is a Hamburg Meat Sauce Seasoned with several Spices and Herbs.

Ingredients

Serves: 20

• 1 med. onion
• 2 Pounds of ground hamburger 85% lean
• 1 tsp. chilie powder
• 1 tsp paprika
• 1/8 tsp. crushed cloves
• 1/2 cinnamon
• 1/8 tsp. thyme
• 1 tsp cumin
• 1 (15oz) can of tomato sauce
• salt and pepper to taste

Preparation method

Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 30 mins

1. In a small frying pan fry Onion till glassy.
2. In a 3qt. pot fry Hamburg. When Hamburg is cooked drain off grease. Put Onion in Hamburg pot.
3. Add chile powder, paprika, cloves, cinnamon, thyme, cumin, tomato sauce, and salt and pepper. Mix well.
4. Make sure meat is broken up, not chunky. Add bouillon cubes. Add water as needed; should be soupy. Simmer for 20 minutes. Freezes well, enjoy.
