Gooey butter cake recipe details
- Ingredients:
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 stick of butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 box of powdered sugar
- One 8-ounce package of cream cheese
- 2 eggs
Combine cake mix, butter, and 1 egg and press into bottom of greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Set aside. Beat together rest of the ingredients for 5 minutes and pour over mixture in pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes or until top is brown. Sprinkle powdered sugar over top while hot. Do not cut until cold.
