Ingredients

  1. Chicken – 350 grams (boneless)
  2. Egg – 2
  3. Bread – 2 slices
  4. Onion – 1 (finely slice)
  5. Ginger/garlic paste – 1tsp
  6. Bread crumbs – 2 cups
  7. Salt – 1tsp
  8. Chinese salt – ½ tsp
  9. Mustard paste – 1tsp
  10. Black pepper powder – 1 tsp
  11. Oil – for frying

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pot and fry onion till golden
  2. Take out fried onion
  3. Blend together chicken, fried onion, salt, Chinese salt, black pepper, ginger/garlic, mustard paste, egg and bread slices
  4. Put the mixture in a plastic bag, roll out like making rotis
  5. Freeze for 1 hour
  6. When this mixture hardens, cut out pieces with a heart shape mould
  7. Dip these pieces in egg and then roll in bread crumbs
  8. Place in a tray
  9. Heat oil in a wok (karahi) and fry hearts until golden
  10. Serve hot
