Golden hearts details
Ingredients
- Chicken – 350 grams (boneless)
- Egg – 2
- Bread – 2 slices
- Onion – 1 (finely slice)
- Ginger/garlic paste – 1tsp
- Bread crumbs – 2 cups
- Salt – 1tsp
- Chinese salt – ½ tsp
- Mustard paste – 1tsp
- Black pepper powder – 1 tsp
- Oil – for frying
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pot and fry onion till golden
- Take out fried onion
- Blend together chicken, fried onion, salt, Chinese salt, black pepper, ginger/garlic, mustard paste, egg and bread slices
- Put the mixture in a plastic bag, roll out like making rotis
- Freeze for 1 hour
- When this mixture hardens, cut out pieces with a heart shape mould
- Dip these pieces in egg and then roll in bread crumbs
- Place in a tray
- Heat oil in a wok (karahi) and fry hearts until golden
- Serve hot
