Gingerbread men cookies recipe details
- Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup butter
- 3-1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 to 1/2 cup water
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Blend brown sugar and butter until creamy. Sift flour and mix with baking soda, cloves, cinnamon, ginger, and salt. Add flour mixture to creamed sugar. Add water to ingredients and roll onto lightly floured surface. Cut cookies out and bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
You can eat them immediately or decorate with sugar icing.
