Ginger pork details
INGREDIENTS:Serves 2-3
200g lean pork, sliced
1 tbsp cornflour
1½ tbsp light soy sauce
A few drops of sesame oil
Dash of pepper
2 tbsp cooking oil
2cm ginger, sliced
2 tsp Shao Xing wine
4 tbsp water
2 tbsp oyster sauce
3 stalks spring onion, cut into 5cm lengths
Method:
- Marinade pork slices with cornflour, light soy sauce, sesame oil and pepper for 30 minutes.
- In a frying pan/ wok, heat oil and fry ginger until fragrant.
- Add marinated pork and sauté for a while. Pour in wine and continue to fry.
- Add oyster sauce and water. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until pork is cooked.
- Add spring onion and stir fry for just a while such that the spring onion will not turn yellowish. Dish up and serve hot.
