- Ingredients
- 1-1/2 pounds lean stew meat
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon parsley
- 1 large onion
- 2 cups mushrooms
- 1 cup white flour
- 1 Tablespoon Criscooil
- 3 cups water or beef bouillon
Cut onion fine, put in hot oil, and fry until golden brown. Then add meat, salt, pepper, paprika, parsley and fry until brown. Add water or beef bouillon. Simmer until meat is tender. Add mushrooms and make white flour sauce for gravy. Taste for flavor. Serve with German dumplings or potatoes.
