Garlic chili sauce recipe details
Ingredients
8 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
15 | dry red chilies, chopped |
4 | tomatoes, chopped |
3 | fresh ginger, minced |
1 medium | onions, chopped |
2 tbsp | soy sauce |
2 tsp | allspice |
2 tsp | sugar |
2 bottle(s) | oil |
1 ½ tbsp | cornstarch |
salt, to taste |
Instructions
Combine all ingredients except the sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan and bring to a simmer over low heat. Cook until everything is cooked, about 10-15 minutes. If mixture is too dry, add a couple of tablespoons of water.Remove from the heat and let the mixture cool. Transfer to a blender and process to preferred consistency.
Return blended mixture to the sauce pan and add the corn starch and sugar. Bring to a simmer until sauce begins to thicken. Transfer to jars and cool.
