Ingredients

8 clove(s) garlic, minced
15  dry red chilies, chopped
4  tomatoes, chopped
3  fresh ginger, minced
1 medium onions, chopped
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tsp allspice
2 tsp sugar
2 bottle(s) oil
1 ½ tbsp cornstarch
salt, to taste

Instructions

Combine all ingredients except the sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan and bring to a simmer over low heat. Cook until everything is cooked, about 10-15 minutes. If mixture is too dry, add a couple of tablespoons of water.

Remove from the heat and let the mixture cool. Transfer to a blender and process to preferred consistency.

Return blended mixture to the sauce pan and add the corn starch and sugar. Bring to a simmer until sauce begins to thicken. Transfer to jars and cool.
