Fruity apple spring rolls recipe details
Ingredients
2 | apples, peeled, cored and finely diced |
100 g | sultanas, chopped |
100 g | marzipan, cut into 8 slices |
8 | rice paper wrappers |
½ l | oil |
Instructions
Mix together the apples and the sultanas.Wet one rice paper wrapper carefully with warm water, then spread flat onto the working place. Place a slice of marzipan and a heaped spoon of the apple mixture one third on the way up on the front side of the wrapper. Fold over the front side to cover the filling and then fold over the right and left side. Roll up from the front side until you reach the end side of the wrapper. Continue with the other wrappers until all is used up.
In a large saucepan, heat the oil. Carefully add the spring rolls and deep-fry for 6-8 minutes until golden and crispy.
Serve the spring rolls with a dessert sauce, e.g. custard.
