Ingredients

8  dried apricots
8  prunes, pitted
2 tbsp vegetable oil
½ tsp dried marjoram
1 medium onion, chopped
2 large carrots, chopped
6 clove(s) garlic, chopped
1 ½ tbsp butter
1 ½ tbsp flour
1 ½ tbsp Dijon mustard
300 ml chicken broth
120 ml dry white wine

Instructions

Preheat oven to 180°C.

Firmly pack apricots and prunes into a roasting pan. Sprinkle with marjoram, salt and pepper. Scatter onion, carrots, garlic on top. Drizzle with oil and bake, stirring occasionally, about 1 hour and 25 minutes.

For the sauce whisk butter, flour, and mustard in a small bowl to blend. Add broth and wine and then add all to the roasting pan and toss well. Place back in the oven and cook for another 15 minutes.
