Fruit stuffing and mustard sauce recipe details
Ingredients
8 | dried apricots |
8 | prunes, pitted |
2 tbsp | vegetable oil |
½ tsp | dried marjoram |
1 medium | onion, chopped |
2 large | carrots, chopped |
6 clove(s) | garlic, chopped |
1 ½ tbsp | butter |
1 ½ tbsp | flour |
1 ½ tbsp | Dijon mustard |
300 ml | chicken broth |
120 ml | dry white wine |
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C.Firmly pack apricots and prunes into a roasting pan. Sprinkle with marjoram, salt and pepper. Scatter onion, carrots, garlic on top. Drizzle with oil and bake, stirring occasionally, about 1 hour and 25 minutes.
For the sauce whisk butter, flour, and mustard in a small bowl to blend. Add broth and wine and then add all to the roasting pan and toss well. Place back in the oven and cook for another 15 minutes.
