Frozen lemon torte recipe details
- Ingredients:
- 6 eggs, separated
- 1 cup sugar
- 1-1/2 Tablespoons grated lemon peel
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 2 cups whipping cream
Beat egg whites until stiff. Gradually beat in 3/4 cup sugar, 1 Tablespoon at a time, until whites form glossy stiff peaks when beater is withdrawn. With same beater, blend yolks remaining, 1/4 cup of sugar, peel and juice.
Whip cream until stiff. Fold whites, yolk, and cream together. In springform pan, stand row of lady fingers around edge. Pour in lemon mix, cover and freeze.
