Ingredients
800 g | potatoes, peeled |
2 | onions, diced |
30 g | lard |
salt and freshly ground black pepper |
Instructions
Cook the potatoes in salted water for 20 minutes or until soft. Drain, allow to cool and cut them in slices.
In a large pan melt the lard. Fry the potatoes over medium heat, turning occasionally, until slightly golden all around. Add the onions and go on frying until the onions are golden too. Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately.
