Ingredients

1 kg potatoes, peeled and quartered
salt and freshly ground black pepper
250 g beef mince
1  onion, chopped
3 handful breadcrumbs
1 tbsp green olives, pitted and chopped
paprika powder
5 tbsp oil
freshly grated nutmeg

Instructions

Cook the potatoes in salted water for 20-25 minutes. Drain.

In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of the oil. Sauté the onion until lucent. Add the minced meat and fry over high heat for 5 minutes. Reduce the heat and cook over medium heat for 8-10 minutes. Season to taste with salt, pepper and paprika powder. Stir in the olives.

Mash the potatoes. Season to taste with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Form medium-sized balls. With a finger, press a hole into the middle of the potato ball. Fill the hole with the minced meat mixture. Close with potato mash over the stuffing. Roll the balls in breadcrumbs and make sure, they are well coated.

In a pan, heat the remaining oil and fry the balls until golden and crispy. Serve immediately.
