Ingredients
Serves: 6- Milk
- 6 pairs frog legs, ready to cook
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 egg, beaten
- Bread crumbs
- Vegetable oil, for frying
Preparation method
Prep: 20 mins | Cook: 10 mins | Extra time: 1 hour, marinating1. In a saucepan, heat to almost boiling enough milk to just cover frog legs. Drop frog legs gently into the milk and simmer on low about 3 minutes.
2. Remove legs and pat them dry. Make a marinade in a bowl of salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Marinate frog legs in refrigerator for 1 hour.
3. Heat oil in deep fryer to 385 degrees F.
4. Dip legs in egg mixture, then roll in bread crumbs. Fry in oil until golden brown.
