Ingredients
1 kg | pumpkin, peeled, cut into chunks |
1 tbsp | butter, melted |
Instructions
Preheat oven to 200°C.Pour melted butter in a baking dish and place pumpkin chunks inside. Cover pan with foil. Bake, turning pieces after 1 hour, for about 2 hours. Test softness with a fork. Remove foil and cool pumpkin in the pan.
Purée pumpkin in batches in a blender. Drain purée in a sieve and then pour into a bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for at least 8 hours or overnight.
