Fresh mussels in white wine sauce recipe details
Ingredients
35 g | butter |
5 | shallots, diced finely |
250 ml | dry white wine |
1.3 kg | mussels, cleaned and debearded |
1 handful | fresh parsley, chopped |
1 tsp | ground black pepper |
Instructions
In large saucepan, heat the butter and sautee the shallots until transparent.Add the mussels and the white wine. Cook over medium heat until the mussel shells open. Season with black pepper.
Pour the mussels and the sauce into a serving bowl, garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with toasted brown bread.
