Featherbed Eggs recipe

- 6 slices bread, buttered
- 1-1/2 cups milk
- 6 eggs
- Salt and pepper
- 1-1/2 cups grated mild cheddar cheese
Arrange bread in 9 x 13-inch sprayed dish. Salt and pepper lightly and put cheese on top. Combine milk and eggs. Pour over and refrigerate overnight. Start in a cold oven. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until puffed and golden. Serve immediately.
