Fresh apple pancakes recipe details
- Ingredients:
- 1 small baking apple
- 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 cup of pancake mix that requires water to mix
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 3/4 cup water
- Powdered sugar
Peel the apple and chop into 1/4- to 1/2-inch pieces. Toss the chopped apples with lemon juice. Sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar and toss again. Stir the pancakes mix with the cinnamon, sugar, and water; stir until mixed. Add the prepared apples and mix lightly. Prepare pan with an oil spray and heat on medium to medium-high heat. Use a 1/4-cup measuring cup to pour batter into pan. Cook until lightly brown and turn. When pancakes are finished, place 3 of the pancakes on a plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
