French dressing details
- Ingredients
- Juice of 1-1/2 oranges
- 1-1/2 cup Mazolacorn oil
- 1 cup vinegar
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 large garlic cloves
- Juice of 1-1/2 lemons
- 1-1/2 Tablespoons salt
- 2 Tablespoons paprika
- 1 Tablespoon dry mustard
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Mix paprika and dry mustard with sugar to keep from lumping. Then mix all ingredients and refrigerate for 24 hours to blend flavors. You can remove garlic after a couple days if you wish, but I leave it in.
Drizzle over lettuce wedges or sections of mixed fruits such as grapefruits, oranges, or grapes. This does separate while standing and does need to be stirred each time before using.
Makes: about 1-3/4 cup.
