Ingredients
120 ml | water |
280 g | granulated sugar |
2 tbsp | light corn syrup |
3 medium | eggs, whites only |
½ tsp | cream of tartar |
1 ½ tsp | vanilla extract |
Instructions
Place water, corn syrup, and sugar in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat and stir until sugar is dissolved.Place egg whites into a separate bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until egg whites begin to stiffen. Continuing beating, gradually add hot syrup in a thin, steady stream.
Add vanilla and continue beating for about 5 minutes or until frosting stands in stiff peaks.
Frost cake immediately.
