Fish stew recipe details
Ingredients
1 kg | fish fillet, such as salmon and different fishes with firm flesh, cut in 3cm cubes |
100 ml | oil |
2 | onions, chopped |
2 tbsp | parsley, chopped |
1 clove(s) | garlic, chopped |
1 | bay leaf |
1 | lemon, sliced |
salt and freshly ground black pepper | |
3 tbsp | tomato puree |
Instructions
In a large saucepan, heat the oil and sauté the onions and garlic until lucent. Stir in the tomato purée and cook for another minute. Add the fish, bay leaf, lemons and so much water that the fish is just covered. Season with salt and pepper.Cover with a lid and bring to a boil. Simmer over low heat for 8 minutes or until the fish is done. Fish out the bay leaf and lemons and season to taste with salt.
Serve with boiled potatoes.
