Fire ribs and potatoes recipe details

Ingredients
Serves: 6- 2 racks pork or beef ribs
- 3-5 pounds potatoes
- 1 1/3 cups liquid crab boil, divided
- 1 pound powdered crab boil
- 2 cups BBQ sauce, or to taste
- 1 pound shredded cheese or block Velveeta(R) cheese, or to taste
- 1/4 cup butter, or as needed
Preparation method
Prep: 45 mins | Cook: 30 mins1. RIBS:
2. Bring 4 tablespoons of liquid crab boil and 1/2 lb powder crab boil to a boil. Add ribs and continue to boil for 30 minutes. Remove from heat and add 3 tablespoons of liquid crab boil and fill pot of ribs with ice and cover. Let ribs soak for 15-20 minutes.
3. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat.
4. Remove ribs from pot and place them on pit. Cover with BBQ sauce, and slow cook for 20 minutes.
5. POTATOES:
6. bring 4 tablespoons of liquid crab boil and 1/2 lb of powder crab boil. Add potatoes and continue to boil. When potatoes are tender, remove from heat and add 2 tablespoons of liquid crab boil. Let potatoes soak for 20 minutes. Drain water and add butter and cheese to your liking.
