Ingredients
Serves: 2- 2 (6 ounce) filet mignon steaks
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup lump crabmeat, drained
- 2 tablespoons shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped green onion
- 1 teaspoon butter, melted
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 16 mins1. Season steaks with salt and pepper, then cut a pocket in each steak’s side with a sharp paring knife. Pockets should be deep enough to fit 1/2 cup stuffing.
2. Preheat broiler to High.
3. Stir crabmeat, cheese, onion, and butter together in a bowl. Stuff steaks with mixture. Place steaks on a baking sheet.
4. Broil for about 16 minutes, flipping midway through cooking time, or until beef reaches an internal temperature of 160 degrees F. Remove from broiler, allow meat to rest for 5 minutes, then serve.
