|8 large||figs, cut crosswise to open|
|2 tbsp||walnuts, roasted and chopped|
|2 tbsp||almonds, roasted and chopped|
|4 tbsp||pistachios, roasted and chopped|
|8 tbsp||ricotta cheese|
|1 tbsp||icing sugar|
|2 tbsp||orange liqueur|
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
In a bowl, mix together the roasted and chopped nuts and the honey.
Fill each fig with one tablespoon of the nut mixture. Place the figs on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the figs from the oven.
Place the baked figs in a saucepan and sprinkle with rosewater. Add the orange liqueur. Heat and cook for 1 minute. Remove from the heat and allow to cool.
In a small bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese and the icing sugar..
Place the figs on a serving plate. Top each fig with a spoonful of the ricotta cheese mixture and decorate with the dates.
