Ingredients
Serves: 4- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 (16 ounce) can kidney beans
- 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste.
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 1 hour 10 mins1. Combine onion, garlic, and ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Cook, stirring, until beef is no longer pink in the middle, about 10 minutes.
2. Add remaining ingredients, except salt and pepper. Allow the chili to come to a boil, then simmer on low for 1 hour to thicken. Season with salt and pepper. Serve.
