Fancy mushroom sauce for steaks recipe details
Ingredients
1 sprig(s) | rosemary, chopped leaves |
salt and pepper | |
4 tbsp | balsamic vinegar |
350 ml | beef stock |
2 tbsp | oil |
1 tbsp | butter |
10 g | cornflour |
500 g | mushrooms, cleaned and halved |
Instructions
In a pan heat the oil and the butter. Add the mushrooms and the rosemary and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes. Deglaze with the vinegar and the stock and cook for 3-4 minutes. Mix the cornflour with 2 tablespoons of water and stir the mixture into the sauce. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce is thickened. Season to taste with salt and pepper.Goes well with beef steaks.
