Egg masala details
Ingredients
- Eggs – 8 (hard boiled)
- Tomato Puree – 1 cup
- Tomatoes – 3
- Tamarind pulp (Imli ka gooda) – ½ cup
- Crushed Red Chilies – 2 tblsp
- Roasted and Crushed Cumin Seeds (bhuna/kotta hoa zeera) – 1tsp
- Crushed Black Pepper – 1tsp
- Green Chilies – 8
- Ginger/Garlic Paste – 2 tbsp
- Salt – to taste
- Oil 5 tbsp
- Chaat Masala and Fresh Coriander (hara Dhania) – For garnishing
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pot
- Fry eggs and keep aside
- Fry ginger/garlic in the same oil
- Add tomatoes, tomato puree, red chilies, cumin, black pepper, green chilies and salt. Add water as desired and cook till gravy thickens
- Add eggs and tamarind pulp. Fry
- When oil surfaces, remove from flame
- Serve delicious egg masala garnished with fresh coriander and chaat masala
