Egg and ham bits with mushrooms recipe details
Ingredients
1 | onion, chopped |
300 g | mushrooms, sliced |
4 slice(s) | ham, halveed |
2 slice(s) | bread, quartered |
4 | hard boiled eggs, peeled and thinly sliced |
120 g | single cream |
salt and freshly ground black pepper | |
45 g | butter |
1 tbsp | flour (level) |
100 ml | vegetable stock |
Instructions
In a pan, melt the butter. Roast the bread on both sides for 3-4 minutes. Remove from the pan and drain on kitchen paper.Add the onions and the mushrooms into the pan and fry for some minutes. Dust with the flour and cook stirring for another minute. Pour in the stock and the cream and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook for 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Divide the egg slices and ham on the breads. Serve together with the mushrooms.
