Ingredients
Serves: 4- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 pound halibut fillets
- Sauce:
- 1/4 cup mashed avocado
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 8 (6-inch) flour tortillas
- 2 cups salsa, to taste
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
Preparation method
Prep: 20 mins | Cook: 8 mins | Extra time: 30 mins, marinating1. Pour lemon juice and olive oil into a shallow pie pan. Stir in garlic. Set halibut in the pie pan, turn to coat, then cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate to marinate for 30 minutes. Drain.
2. Preheat broiler to high.
3. Combine all sauce ingredients in a bowl.
4. Set halibut on a broiling rack and broil for about 4 minutes, then flip and broil for 4 to 5 more minutes, until fish is cooked through and flaky.
5. Stuff tortillas with fish, avocado sauce, salsa, and cabbage. Serve.
