Easy turkey chili recipe details
I threw this together with ingredients on hand and it was a big hit! It has a lot of flavor and is very simple to make!
Ready in: 1 hour 30 mins
Ingredients
Serves: 4- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1/2 white onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 (16 ounce) cans red kidney beans, drained
- 2 (16 ounce) cans diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 (16 ounce) can chili beans, undrained
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato paste, plus 1 can water
- 1 pkg onion soup mix
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 1 hour 15 mins1. Brown ground turkey in a large pot.
2. Drain turkey, add olive oil, onion & pepper to pot & cook until tender.
3. Stir in turkey & all other ingredients.
4. Mix well & heat on medium heat until boiling.
5. Reduce to low heat & simmer for 1-2 hours.
