Garlic lovers, here’s the pork fried rice recipe for you. Great recipe for beginning cooks, this fried rice takes one skillet and only a few ingredients.
Ready in: 25 mins

Ingredients

Makes: 6 cups
  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 8 to 10 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • Salt and pepper
  • 4 cups cooked white rice
  • 3 slices scallions

Preparation method

Prep: 5 mins | Cook: 20 mins

1. Pour oil into large skillet over medium-low heat. Saute garlic in hot oil for about 8 minutes, until golden-brown. Add pork, salt, and pepper and cook over medium-high heat for about 4 minutes, until pork is almost cooked through.
2. Stir in rice. Use a rubber spatula to press the pork rice mixture into a compact layer. Let it cook for 5 minutes, until golden-brown on the bottom. Stir and cook for about 2 more minutes, then sprinkle with scallions and serve.
