Easy pizza dough recipe details
This is a thick and chewy pizza dough that is crisp on the bottom with very good flavor, however to get the flavor you will have to allow the dough to rise several times. dough makes 2 12″ pizzas and can be frozen for later use. I also use this same recipie to make french bread, garlic bread. I hope you enjoy it as much as we have.

Ingredients
Serves: 6- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 cup warm water (110 degrees F)
- 1 tablespoon or package yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 cups bread flour
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Preparation method
Prep: 1 hour 10 mins | Cook: 20 mins1. In large bowl add sugar, warm water, and then sprinkle yeast on top of water. Let yeast soften/cream for approx. 10 mins.
2. Add salt, olive oil, and then the flour to bowl. Mix with wooden spoon, mixing machine using the hook until dough is elastic, if sticky add a little more flour, however, more flour will dry out the dough. Spray olive oil on a working surface and need the dough for about 5 mins. Place in a oiled bowl and put in warm location (Oven with the light on is an excellent location). Let rise for 30 mins, beat down and let rise for another 30 mins.
3. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. If using a stone place stone in oven before tuning on oven.
4. Remove from bowl, divide in half if not using a cookie sheet, roll out to desired size and shape, place in pan, lift up sides and add olive oil to get a crispy bottom or place on parchment paper is using a stone, place favorite toping on dough. Sprinkle Italian seasoning and garlic powder on top of assembled pizza.
5. Bake in preheated oven for 20 mins. Cover with aluminum foil if topping begins to brown.
