Ingredients
Serves: 15- 3 pounds ground beef
- 4 onions, chopped
- 2 celery ribs, chopped
- 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup steak sauce (A1(R) preferred)
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 15 hamburger buns, split
Preparation method
Prep: 5 mins | Cook: 30 mins1. In a large, heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium heat, place the ground beef, onions, and celery. Cook, stirring to break up the beef, for about 10 minutes until beef is cooked through and browned completely. If there’s any excess liquid, you can pour it out now.
2. Add everything but the buns to the pot. Stir to combine and bring it to a boil over medium heat. Then turn heat to low and let the mixture cook for 20 minutes to thicken.
3. Serve spooned over buns.
