Ingredients
Serves: 12- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup mashed banana
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Icing:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 4 cups confectioners sugar
- 1 mashed banana
- 1 drop vanilla extract
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 50 mins1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Cream together the butter and shortening. Beat in the eggs.
3. Add the flour and sifted dry ingredients. Pour milk; mix well. Add banana and vanilla.
4. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes.
5. Let cool and remove from baking plate.
6. Icing: cream together the butter and the confectioners sugar. Add the drop of vanilla and the mashed banana.
