They’ll call it “cassoulet” in France, but you can get away with just calling it sausage stew. Hearty and flavorful, it goes all in one pan and–thanks to pre-cooked ham, sausage and beans–can be ready in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients
Serves: 3- 1/4 pound smoked kielbasa, sliced
- 1/4 pound fully cooked ham, cubed
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 1 celery stalk, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 teaspoons canola oil
- 1 (15 ounce) can white kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes, drained
- 3/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Preparation method
Prep: 5 mins | Cook: 15 mins1. Pour oil into a large skillet and set over medium heat. Cook kielbasa, ham, carrots, celery, onion, and garlic in hot oil for about 10 minutes to soften.
2. Add the rest of the ingredients. Stir well. When liquids come to a boil, turn heat down to low and cook for about 5 minutes. Serve.
