Ingredients
Makes: 8 man size burgers- 5 pounds hamburger, ground chuck or venison burger mixed
- 2 pounds Mexican-blend fine shredded cheese
- 1 (1 ounce) pouch onion soup mix
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 3 teaspoons hickory liquid smoke
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Preparation method
Prep: 1 hour | Cook: 30 mins1. Preheat grill to Medium or light charcoal.
2. Mix all the above ingredients together in a bowl, like you would a meat loaf. Divide into 8 evenly-sized balls.
3. Form each ball into a patty about 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick.
4. Place patties on grill and let cook (WITH LID ON) about 7 minutes, NO PEEKIN’). Then turn once and cook for 7 more minutes.
5. DONE. Put on an onion bun and top to your liking.
