Easy food processor banana bread recipe details
- Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 3 medium bananas (very ripe)
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1-1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Oil sides and bottom of a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
With steel knife, process bananas to a smooth puree. Add sugar and eggs. Process 15 seconds. With motor running, add oil through the tube. Remove cover, scrape down the sides, add vanilla and dry ingredients. Turn motor on and off several times. Do not over process. Open and drop in nuts. Process quickly with on/off turns to chop the nuts a little. Turn batter into pan and bake for 1 hour until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then out on a cake rack to cool completely.
