Easy farfalle with creamy chicken sauce recipe details

Ingredients
Serves: 4- 2 cups uncooked farfalle pasta
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 1/2 cups cubed cooked/shredded chicken breast
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried tarragon
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 2 tablespoons shredded Parmesan cheese
- 2 teaspoons minced chives
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 15 mins1. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil and cook the farfalle to al dente according to package directions. Drain.
2. While the pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in large skillet over medium heat. When oil is hot, add the onion and bell pepper and cook, stirring, for about 5 minutes. Then add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
3. To the skillet, add the chicken, sour cream, milk, salt, pepper, tarragon, and thyme. Stir together and let the mixture come to temperature, then add the pasta and toss.
4. Serve sauced pasta with cheese and chives to garnish.
