This easy homemade pizza gives you the fresh flavor of pesto with a hearty helping of chicken and veggies.

Ingredients
Serves: 4- 1 pound refrigerated pizza dough
- 1 egg white, lightly beaten
- 1/2 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1/2-inch slices
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 small yellow bell pepper, cut into thin strips
- 1/4 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 cup pesto
- 3 tomatoes, thinly sliced
- 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Preparation method
Prep: 20 mins | Cook: 15 mins1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
2. Stretch out dough to a 12-inch circle and set on a pizza pan or baking sheet. Poke a few times with a fork, then coat with egg white and bake for about 12 minutes to lightly brown.
3. While crust is baking: pour oil into a large skillet and set over medium heat. Add chicken, onion, bell pepper, and lemon pepper and cook in hot oil for about 7 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and white in the middle. Pour off excess liquid.
4. Coat baked crust with pesto. Pour the chicken and vegetables onto the crust and spread out into an even layer; top with tomato slices and sprinkle with cheese.
5. Bake for another 15 minutes, or until pizza is heated through and cheese is melted.
