A simple applesauce using brown sugar & apple cider.

Ingredients
Serves: 6- 3 lbs apples (7 to 8 apples)
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 cup apple cider
- salt
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 20 mins1. Peel and cut apples into chunks.
2. Mix in brown sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, the apple cider, and a dash of salt. Bring to a boil and then reduce to simmer for approximately 20 minutes. Use a potato masher while cooking to help break down the softened apples. Serve warm or cool.
