Dutch baby pancakes with glazed apples recipe details
- Ingredients Pancakes
- 3/4 cups milk
- 3/4 cups flour
- 1/4 cup butter
- 3 eggs
- Glazed Apples
- 4 medium Granny Smith apples
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 3 to 4 Tablespoons dark brown sugar
- Cinnamon
Pancakes: Melt butter in an iron skillet. Whirl eggs on high in blender while gradually adding milk, then flour. Continue whirling for 30 seconds. Pour batter into pan. Bake at 425 degrees until puffy and well-browned (20 to 25 minutes). Dust with powdered sugar and top with glazed apples.
Glazed Apples: Slice 4 medium Granny Smith apples. Melt butter in skillet; saute apples in butter. Apples should be somewhat firm. Add 3 to 4 Tablespoons dark brown sugar and sprinkle with cinnamon. Cook over medium heat until done. Pour over pancake and serve hot.
