Dried prune cake recipe details
Ingredients
200 g | flour |
1 pinch(es) | salt |
80 g | sugar |
120 g | butter |
1 medium | egg |
4 medium | eggs |
175 g | sugar |
100 g | butter, melted |
60 g | almond flakes |
30 | prunes, dried, seedless |
Instructions
For the Pastry:Mix flour, salt and sugar well. Add butter cut into pieces and crumble with your fingers into the flour. Add egg and knead into a dough. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Roll out the pastry and line a large baking dish. Pinch with a fork and cover with a baking paper. Pour dried beans on top and blind bake for 30 minutes at 180°.
Take the beans and paper off. Scatter 40 g of almond flakes and the seedless prunes onto the dough and pour the custard mixture on top. Scatter with remaining almond flakes and bake 30 minutes at 180°. Dust with icing sugar. Let cool down completely or it will fall apart when cutting it!
