Ingredients
4 slice(s) | leftover Christmas pudding, thickly sliced |
some | butter |
4 tbsp | brandy butter |
4 | preserved figs and syrup |
Instructions
Melt a generous knob of butter in a non-stick frying pan. Do not allow to burn.
Place slices of Christmas pudding in the pan and reduce the heat. You need to heat the pudding through without burning it or making it dry.
Meanwhile place one fig per slice of pudding and some of the syrup from the figs in a small saucepan and heat gently.
When the pudding is heated through (takes about 10 minutes), serve topped with a spoonful of brandy butter. Add a heated fig and some syrup. This melts the brandy butter into the pudding and is quite delicious.
Preparation time:
ca. 25 min
