Double cheese and beer spread recipe details
A spread inspired by the beer lovers of Bavaria. It’s plenty filling with two types of cheese and a hefty helping of butter.

Ingredients
Serves: 6- 2 pounds brie cheese, rind removed and cubed
- 2 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
- 4 tablespoons butter, cubed and softened
- 1/2 white onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1/4 cup lager beer
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation method
Prep: 20 mins | Extra time: 1 hour, chilling1. Mash brie with blue cheese, butter, onion, and paprika in a bowl. Add beer and stir well to incorporate. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste, then cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
2. Use an ice cream or melon ball scooper or a spoon to carve out the cheese spread in curls. Serve with toasted baguette or crackers.
