Dimmy's apple cake recipe details
- Ingredients:
- 5 Tablespoons sugar
- 2 Tablespoons cinnamon
- 2 to 3 apples, thinly sliced
- Ingredients for batter:
- 4 eggs
- 1-1/2 cups sugar
- 3 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 cup oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 6 to 8 Tablespoons lemon or orange juice, or a combination
Preheat oven to 350 degrees, grease or PAM bundt pan.
Toss together 5 tablespoons sugar, cinnamon and apples and set aside.
Mix batter ingredients. Pour half the batter in bundt pan; then layer of apples, the the rest of the batter, then another layer of the apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done. You can also do this in 2 loaf pans.
