Dill sauce for fish recipe details
Ingredients
3 tbsp | butter |
3 tbsp | flour |
1 tbsp | parsley, chopped |
1 | onion, chopped |
2 tbsp | dill, chopped |
2 cup(s) | fish stock or water |
1 dash(es) | lemon juice |
4 tbsp | single cream |
salt and pepper |
Instructions
In a saucepan, melt the butter and sauté the onion until lucent. Stir in the flour and cook for 2-3 minutes or until pale yellow.Pour in the fish stock or water and bring to a boil. Add more stock if necessary. Reduce the heat and cook for approximately 10 minutes. Stir in the parsley, dill and cream. Season to taste with salt, pepper and lemon juice.
