Delicious low sugar oatmeal raisin chocolate chip cookies recipe details
This recipe is one my daughter and I have been working on, and we think it’s great! It’s a little more healthy than a run-of-the-mill oatmeal raisin cookie, but still tastes delicious. It makes use of Splenda(R) sugar substitute, and the raisins and chocolate chips can be left out depending on your tastes; we love them both in there!

Ingredients
Serves: 24- 3/4 cups butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup Splenda(R) sweetener
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 4 cups oatmeal
- 3/4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup raisins
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 10 mins1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (190 degrees C).
2. In large bowl, add butter, brown sugar, Splenda, eggs, milk and vanilla. Beat well until creamy
3. Add flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt to the bowl and mix together. Add oatmeal to bowl and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and raisins and mix.
4. Drop rounded spoonfuls onto an un-greased cookie sheet.
5. Bake 9-11 minutes. Remove from oven, cool on countertop.
