If you like deer meat, you have to try this recipe. Every time i make this it never lasts more than 15 minutes in my house. All ingredients can be combined and cooked in crock pot on medium heat for better flavor.
Ready in: 35 mins

Ingredients

Serves: 4
  • 1-2 pounds of deer backstrap or tenderloin
  • 2 large cans original recipe baked beans

Preparation method

Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 25 mins

1. Thaw frozen backstraps or tenderloin. Slice backstrap or tenderloin into strips about 3/8-inch thick, brown in frying pan until meat is medium rare.
2. Pour baked beans into pot and heat to simmer, combine with cooked meat, and let simmer 10 minutes and serve.
