Date and beetroot smoothie recipe details
Ingredients
250 g | dried dates |
500 ml | orange juice |
2 medium | beetroot, cooked and peeled, coarsely diced |
1 bunch(es) | watercress or 1 packet of re-rinsed picked watercress |
4 sprig(s) | fresh mint |
1 dash(es) | Worcestershire sauce, or to taste |
sprig(s) | mint or parsley, to decorate |
Instructions
Warm the orange juice in a small pan on a low heat and pour over dates in a bowl. Allow to cool.Place into a blender or food processor, add the beetroot, watercress and mint and process until smooth. Season to taste with Worcestershire sauce.
Chill for about an hour before serving, decorated with fresh mint or Parsley..
