Dad's goulash recipe details
Just a basic one pot goulash my dad used to make us when we were kids. He added the cream cheese cause none of us were real fans of just the tomato taste.

Ingredients
Serves: 6- 1 (1 pound) box shell noodles
- 1 pound ground hamburger
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 (12 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can chopped tomatoes
- 1 (8 ounce) block cream cheese
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 20 mins1. Prepare noodles al dente in a large pot. Drain and set aside.
2. Brown hamburger in the same large pot used for noodles.
3. Drain meat, return to same pot and add chopped onion, green peppers, and salt. Cook until onions are translucent and green peppers are softened.
4. Add tomato paste, chopped tomatoes and cream cheese to the pot and mix.
5. Return noodles to pot and stir mixture together.
